Stats in Axie Infinity are the four fundamental attributes that govern each Axie. These stats are primarily used in battles.

In order to play competitively in this game, knowledge about the various stats is required.
As you read through this guide, you will encounter the four basic stats, an explanation for each stat, and the stat distribution for every class in Axie Infinity.
The 4 Primary Stats in “Axie Infinity”
The HP, Speed, Skill, and Morale stats determine how well any given Axie performs in battle.
Here’s a more in-depth explanation of each attribute:
Also known as Health Points/Hit Points/Health Power.
This stat determines the amount of damage an Axie can withstand before being knocked out. The higher the HP an Axie has, the higher the damage needed from the enemy to knock it out.
The HP stat directly influences the survivability of an Axie on the battlefield.
This stat determines turn order and priority. The higher the Speed of an Axie, the higher its priority in the battle order. Axies with higher Speed stat will always attack first unless affected by certain debuffs or conditions.
In case two Axies have the same amount of points in their Speed stat, the battle order is determined by the following formula:
High Speed > Low HP > High Skill > High Morale > Low Fighter ID
This means that if two Axies have the same Speed, the one with the lower HP will receive priority in the battle order. If the two Axies have the same HP as well, the one with the higher Skill will be given priority. If the scenario goes on, the formula will eventually reach the Fighter ID statistic. No two Axie have the same Fighter ID, so the one with the lower number will end up receiving the priority in the battle order in case of the mentioned unlikely scenario.
Lastly, the Speed stat also determines how often an Axie takes Critical Hits from the enemy. The higher the Speed of an Axie, the lesser the chances of enemy attacks dealing Critical Hits.
Skill determines the bonus damage of combos by using multiple abilities/cards. The formula for the damage bonus is calculated as follows:
(Card Attack * Skill) / 500
The higher the Skill stat is, the higher the damage of combos. This effect is best enjoyed by combo dealers with high damage prowess.
Morale determines Critical Hit chance, Last Stand Chance, and the number of Last Stand ticks.
Critical Hits double the damage an Axie can deal on an enemy. The higher the Morale an Axie has, the higher the chances of dealing Critical Hits.
Last Stand indirectly increases the survivability of an Axie. When an Axie receives fatal damage, it has the chance to enter Last Stand mode, allowing it to continue attacking and become invulnerable to damage for a certain amount of time depending on the number of Last Stand ticks.

The higher the Morale an Axie has, the higher the chances of entering Last Stand mode when receiving fatal damage. Higher Morale also increases the number of Last Stand ticks.
Base Stats of Each Axie Class
The base stats of an Axie are determined by their class. There are currently 9 classes in Axie Infinity.
This table shows the various Axie classes and their respective base stats:
Stat Bonuses from Axie Body Parts
Another factor in determining Axie stats is the body part mechanic. An Axie has 6 different body parts, namely:
Each body part adds a total of 4 stats spread between HP, Speed, Skill, and Morale.
If a body part matches with its class, an Axie can reach its maximum stat distribution. Reaching maximum stats usually optimizes stat, class, and ability/card synergy. However, this may not always be the case.
Since Axie Infinity is a skill and strategy game, mixing and matching body parts, classes, stats, and abilities/cards has the potential to create unique and wonderful results.
This table shows the bonus stat points provided by the various body parts from each class:
Total Stats for Pure Breeds
If an Axie has all the body parts corresponding to its class, then it is considered a pure breed. Axies that are pure breed can reach maximum stat distribution.
This table shows the maximum base stats each class can achieve by having their corresponding body parts:
